WHO: Marina and Weiss WHAT: Ice magic WHEN: Tuesday afternoon WHERE: By the river WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Closed/Ongoing
Winter was lasting a long time this year, but Marina didn't mind. She barely felt the cold...in fact, it felt more natural to her than the warm did. And the warm reminded her of the hot humidity of Florida, and the day they had lost Eight, so she was more than happy to enjoy the cold weather as long as it wanted to stay around.
She was feeling more and more comfortable with her ice legacy. She'd been getting help from lots of people, and she was pretty sure that the confidence helped more than anything. That, and the fact that she was actually feeling happy again for the first time in years were making all the difference in the world.
Right now she was down by the river, working on making snow. Snow was much harder than the icicles that she'd first made. It was more delicate, softer, and required a much lighter touch on her ability. But she was getting better at finding the beauty in winter instead of just the sharp and deadly edges.
She was so wrapped up in her practice that she didn't even hear the footsteps behind her, something which also showed how much she'd relaxed since she came to Madison Valley.
