Sue didn't ask questions when Izzy dropped Max off at the house shortly after saying it wouldn't be necessary. She'd seen the conversation between Izzy and Alec, knew exactly what kind of drive there was to protect a family member, so she simply accepted her nephew and the baby bag and promised she'd call if there was an emergency. She just hoped there wouldn't be, but she locked the front door all the same and made sure to draw the curtains.
"We'll be alright, won't we, Max?" she asked her nephew, even though he couldn't understand her. He was only three weeks old, after all. Sue just hoped Fred and Archie wouldn't mind, though her son seemed to have disappeared up to his room. Not that she blamed him because things were a little crazy right now and no one liked being cooped up in the house. This was where they were safest though, so this was where he was staying. She dropped the baby bag onto the floor next to the couch and offered Fred an apologetic smile.
"Izzy needed to go be with her brother so I volunteered to look after Max," she explained. "It shouldn't be for very long." Sue hadn't exactly thought it all the way through when she'd offered to watch over her nephew.
