York was really regretting agreeing to letting goddamn kids along. He was not ready for Mal to turn into a dragon. One that spouted fire no less, although he supposed all dragons spewed fire more than likely. Between that and the fact that their bullets were barely slowing the damn dog thing down. They couldn't find a way to slow it down and the fire honestly just made it a hell of a lot worse.
He was trying to keep the damn creature in his sights but after the fire, it took some time to recover his sight lines. Before he could even understand what was happening, York hurt Wash shout his name and then all of a sudden his friend was at his side, and the damn creature was gnawing on Wash's arm.
"Wash!" A whistle cut through all the noise and then the creature was gone and it's master was surrendering. "Presto, bind him. Mal, if he twitches, light his ass on fire." York was going to punch the bastard in the face but he needed to make sure his friend was alright.
