Who: Cisco and Dagny
What: Movie night
Where: His place
When: Recently
Warning: None.
Note: Doc TBC in comments.
Cisco was completely ready for movie night. He had all the essentials. Popcorn, licorice (a must!) and soda. For a guy with a shiny new bar job he really didn’t drink that much, it ought to make his drink mixtures pretty interesting. Whatever. He was happy to have a job. A little less happy to be on his own without Team Flash, but he was trying to get past those feelings. Barry had a shiny new teaching job, Caitlin also had a life all her own. Who was he to interfere with that?
With his projector set up, he waited. Playing at a mindless phone game while he did so, some version of bejeweled, but it wasn’t really keeping his attention. It was just there to serve as a fidget toy.
His apartment was set up now, fancy computer system that looked a lot like Tony Stark’s own set up with clear monitors rested in the corner of his apartment, the rest was just there for show. That computer system was obviously the baby of the room. Everything else was just a decoration to it.

Dagny had been waiting for this night forever and she was glad it was finally happening. Armed with snacks and drinks, she headed over to Cisco’s place in her pajamas. It was movie night so it was only fitting that she showed up comfortable. She hoped that this one went well and that they could have a few more before she me her demise and started over again as a child.
Not wanting to think about that anymore, she put it out of her mind as she kicked on the door. When it opened, she got a bright smile on her face and she gave him a nod because she couldn’t wave at him. “What up?” She asked as she stepped inside. “Sweet set up” She commented as she looked around.
---
The dark haired young man pulled open that door and grinned as he saw the girl he was waiting for. “Think so? It’s pretty baren compare to what I’m used to. Tech wise.” He explained with a little shrug and stepped aside to let her in. The couch was comfy enough anyway, he had a blanket there if she wanted one, and the playstation 4 armed and ready for movies.
He’d been suffering through a bit of a rough patch lately with the loss of his friend and not fitting in right, so this was perfect timing. “Get comfy. Mi casa es su casa.” When he had spoken, it was clear he spoke some kind of Spanish as a first language, but he was equally proficient in English. It just wasn’t his first language, but he learned and adapted.
--
“If you think this is barren, you should see my place. The most techy thing we have is a big screen TV” She told him with a small laugh before smiling what he said. Having spent time in Spain, she had learned Spanish and easily replied in the language. “Cuidado o podría simplemente mudarme” She teased with a wink, saying that if he wasn’t careful she might just take what he said literally and move in. That wouldn’t happen, though, as she was happy where she was with Vex and Terezi and she was still getting to know Cisco. They were nowhere near move in level quite yet. “Let’s get our Star Wars on” She declared as she sat down on the couch, grabbing the blanket to get cozy with.
--
Cisco gave a dramatic wince at that comment. “Ooh. you hurt me. Once I have money I’ll have to fix that...though my poor system isn’t getting much use these days…” He looked over at his complicated computer system and frowned a bit, but when she spoke freaking Spanish he grinned. This girl was perfect! He could kiss her right then, but he hadn’t kissed her yet. “Is there anything you can’t do?’ Asked again in Spanish because why not. He motioned toward the blanket pile he’d created and switched just as easily back to English. “I’m okay with that.” Her moving in, if he was honest Cisco missed having people he loved around. But they barely knew each other yet, he knew it was a joke. He didn’t quite flop over on the couch yet, he went to go grab the remote. He’d already set everything up so he could have more time with her just lounging. He was wearing a pair of sweats and a shirt that said S.T.A.R Laboratories on it. Comfy stuff. Hell she’d already seen him incredibly stressed out, if she could handle that version she could handle lazy version.
--
“You don’t have to” She told him with a shake of her head. She didn’t care much about having the latest tech gadget. Just give her a working smart phone and she was a happy girl. The phone was going to stay in her pocket this entire time, though. All of her focus was going to be on the cute guy speaking Spanish to her. Swoon. “I’m not fluent in Old Norse yet but I’m working on it” She replied in Spanish before switching over to English when he did with a smile. “Maybe one day” She said not so jokingly, leaving it there as she snuggled into his couch and got comfortable. She was lazying about too with her hair up to go with her ultra cozy outfit. The only thing missing were slippers, which she forgot to bring. Then again, if she wore them they would hide her mismatched socks so maybe it was a good thing she forgot them. “Is STAR Laboratories where you used to work at home?” She asked, noticing his shirt.
--
Cisco stared at her for a long moment like she had two heads. Didn’t have to. Feh. He waved off the comment as if to say ‘crazy talk’ and raised an eyebrow. “Old Norse?...Well that’s just cool. You can be like Thor.” He raised a soda like it was a hammer and grinned. He didn’t know any female badass norse chicks or did he. “Or maybe like Sif.” He knew marvel movies okay. Close enough. He sank down onto that couch and nodded a bit to the question. “Yep, Barry and Caitlin who are also here worked with me there.” He pressed play on that projector and let the movie start up.
--
“I actually know Thor. I thought he was my dad one time” She told him, grinning herself when he acted like his soda was the hammer. He would definitely get a kick out of what she just said. “I think Sif is here too. I haven’t met her, though. I’ve just heard about her from Sigrun” She told him as she took a sip of her soda. “Rock on. Too bad you can’t start something up like that here” She paused then spoke again. “Or could you?” She asked in a pondering kind of way. It would give him something to do.
