Being cooped up in a tiny town that she couldn't escape was difficult for Raven. She was restless and unsure what to do with her time. The money she'd been given was running very low and she knew she needed a job, but she was trying to hold out until the strip club opened. That at least might be entertaining. And she knew if she got really stuck, Charles or Erik would help her out though she really didn't want to go that route.
She was still trying to figure out how she felt about the two of them having a relationship. It wasn't something she'd ever seen coming and it was awkward for her, given her own intimate relationship with Erik in the past. She wouldn't say she loved him, not in a romantic sense, but she cared for him more than most people and had briefly entertained the notion of them settling down together someday. Clearly that would not be happening here and that was fine. It was just going to be strange to see him settling down with her brother.
Tonight, she'd decided to get dressed up in a short skirt and a top with a very low neckline in the hopes of meeting someone she could have some fun with. It would be even better if that person wanted to pay for her to drink tonight. She settled on a stool at Lou's and ordered a whiskey, glancing around and surveying the gathered crowd for any likely suspects.
