Ella w/ Max & Elizabeth
Ella could understand Eliza's reasoning, though she wasn't looking to make the same arrangements for herself. She was quite uncomfortable about the idea of working while her son was still so young. At 7 months old, she spent every waking moment with him and it was such a joy to see his development as he learned to sit up and reach for things and babble incoherently to her.
"I hope that you are able to remember your education here," she replied. As she glanced around the party, Ella hoped she would always remember the people she'd met. "It is scary, to think that we might not remember our time here." Her gaze drifted to Jesse without realizing it, but she brought her attention back to Eliza. "Perhaps that is not the case and we will get to keep these memories for the rest of our lives."
