Ella, Max, and McCree
"It is my favorite color, yes. It would seem your little birdy is quite accurate." Ella wondered who he might have asked, perhaps Grandpa Jeremy or Ms Kate? Ultimately, it really only mattered that he'd cared to ask. She had been a bit hesitant ever since the first, when they'd woken up curled together after thinking they'd been married for the second time in as many months. It was hard to understand why the dome kept insisting it, but she did her best not to think about it too deeply.
"I do enjoy it when everyone is having a good time," she replied, though it was a conversation she'd had many times with various of her friends. Ella couldn't help but smile because it showed that he cared just as much as they did.
When he asked how she was doing, she shifted and tugged his hand so that he'd sit down next to her. The whole party faded away as she focused her attention on him. "It was odd, but not unpleasant in any way," Ella admitted softly. She gave his hand a squeeze of reassurance. "I do not know why the dome has seen fit to bring us together twice in such a short span of time, but I know that in each of the instances, you've been lovely to me." It could have been much worse, since at no point did she do anything she didn't want to with Jesse. If she'd been with someone else, who knew what would have happened.
"You are a true gentleman, Jesse," she praised, just as softly. She hadn't ever addressed him by his first name outside of her home but that was how important this was to her.
