"Hardly," he said. Of course his money had run out. How could it not have? He'd been spending it like he did back home, but without his father's credit cards. But he'd managed to convince his Guardians that he needed enough for some new winter clothes and since they pretty much just wanted him to stay out of their hair, they obliged. For which Sebastian was incredibly grateful.
But he wasn't going to tell Ian that. Ian could simply think that he had tons of money to throw around and waste however he pleased. Because honestly, that was how it should have been, if there was any justice at all in the Universe.
"They're going to have to drop their prices, now that you've been in here."
He put the shirt he was looking at back on the shelf, as if even being in the presence of Ian had contaminated it completely.
