She didn't mind it today, especially because it really wasn't as intense as he'd been a while ago. She gave his hand a squeeze to reassure him that it was alright. "You are. And I'm not- I'm not trying to just make you change or anything," Cassie replied, because she didn't want him to change. She just wasn't used to it and if it was too much all at once, she knew she'd just shut down. That wasn't something she wanted.
Cassie looked at him kind of oddly when he said he wanted to do one thing and then it was warmer and she didn't have to hunch over on herself all that much to brace against the cold. "Huh. That's handy." It definitely went a long way in making things more comfortable and they continued on their way toward the center of town.
"Well, it suited him from what I could tell," she replied with a grin. She'd seen herself through his eyes too and it made her happy to know that she'd make it to adulthood without being too worse for wear. Plus, she kept her colorful hair. "But I'm glad it wasn't so bad for you. I turned into the Hulk more times than I think anyone was happy about."
