Diana understood better than most that things were prescribed by Fate and there was no fighting against it. Not when it came to the big things, anyway. She wasn't interested in her life being a constant struggle between the people she cared about and the people who were destined to be in her life in some way.
"I think Tim was doing that more of his own volition than on Bruce's request," she replied as she finished her drink. "He cares more about Cassandra than he cares to admit to anyone, least of all himself." She did not have the same concerns that he did about their age difference, but they would figure it out in time. "I will do what I can to mitigate some of it. There is no reason to make your life any more difficult than you make it already." She pushed the glass toward him.
