It was just cold but Jeremy still would have preferred if she could have one comfortable thing about it. It was never fun to stand out in the freezing cold waiting for the Change to take over. Jeremy knew how to let it happen, all experienced werewolves did but he also knew that it might take Jaime a little longer. Even with needing to Change, it wasn't always so easy.
He led her outside, trekking across the lawn to disappear into the treeline.
"I can't be beside you, but I'll be nearby," he said once they were suitably far from the house, letting go of her hand and nudging her gently further into the brush. "You'll want to undress first."
Forgetting that led to ruined clothes or worse, getting caught in them.
