There was no scenario in which Jeremy could say the Change was a pleasant experience. He knew it was easy for some werewolves in town, that they could transition in a blink and without the pain, but that wasn't the way of it for them. It was an excruciating process, left even experienced werewolves like himself exhausted for a few moments on either side of it.
He just looked steadily at her, nodded once. "You will, yes, and it's probably the most painful thing you'll do in your life." But he and the rest of the Pack did it once a week regardless, because not Changing willingly meant it would be torn out of them and that was worse. "I assume you're thinking about it because you're feeling a need?"
