Who: Octavia and Bellamy Blake What: Talking and such Where: Bellamy's place When: Wednesday Warnings: Not likley Status: Closed
She'd left Aurie at the house, because it was just too cold to bundle her up to run around doing errands. And there wasn't anyone at the house that Octavia didn't trust to have Aurie's best interests in mind at all times. She was pretty sure all of the adults would lay down their life for Aurie, if it ever came down to that, and knowing how Madison Valley liked to toy with its hapless citizens, it totally could. But hopefully wouldn't.
Octavia stopped at Hong Kong Garden to pick up a couple of meals to go. She wasn't headed home, though. Instead she carried the bag of food to the apartments in town. To her brother's door. She hadn't told him she was planning to drop by. She hadn't actually decided to go to his place until she was already out and about in town.
Hopefully he would be home, and not busy. Octavia didn't want to give him a head's up. She wanted to surprise him. Their relationship was still strained, and would remain so unless and until she actually forgave him. Talking about it was one thing, following through was another. He'd been keeping his distance, and she believed it was out of respect for her and the fact she was still struggling to come to terms with him and everything that had happened back home.
But giving Bellamy the cold shoulder as it were, wasn't going to bring Lincoln back. And honestly, with the way things were going with Tefe, having Lincoln come back now would be problematic. Octavia would never say she didn't want him to come back, but...well. She was happy. With Tefe and the family they had carved out with the others in the house. But even if she had moved on from Lincoln, there was still something missing, and that something was her brother.
Bellamy had been the one to keep her alive on the Ark. Bellamy had been the one to comfort her when she was sick or scared. Bellamy was the one who taught her to slay her dragons. Angry as she was with him for siding with Pike, she loved him. She needed him.
So she made her way into the building where he lived and knocked at his door.
