Benji spun around again, arms flailing a bit and almost knocking the poor girl's food bag. Luck was with him, which was great because the girl had just said hi and welcomed him. Sure to some place he'd never heard of but the welcome was always a start.
A woman in a suit reached them and also welcomed him, though the welcome was decidedly more cold than the winter—why was it snowy and freaking cold in April here?—weather outside. She glanced at the young girl beside him and pressed a manila folder stuffed too full with things into his hand along with something that definitely looked like a laptop bag. He slid it onto his shoulders and stared blankly at her as she walked off, nothing else said. Had he just become an accomplice in some kind of crime... a drug drop... maybe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and these ladies thought he was someone else.
"Ah, so look... I think you've got the wrong guy. I don't know what it is you guys are up to and I don't want to because I won't tell the cops this way because I mean I can't tell the cops something I don't know right and so if this is drugs or something and you think I'm the dealer or a hit man or something... I'm not. I just literally appeared here like magic or the town appeared... or something but please don't let some huge big guy kill me!"
