Clayton with the kids, and Elena
This statement was not surprising to Elena actually. The two had been in a relationship long before Elena had arrived in Madison Valley this time around. It was obvious the two of them loved one another and it was only a matter of time before marriage came into the picture. Elena appreciated him telling her despite it being what was an obvious outcome. She could see why he did and it meant a lot to her. They were friends. It was a different relationship and maybe difficult for other times she'd been here, but it had never manifested into that with this Elena.
"Clay, you should," Elena replied quickly and offered him a reassuring smile. "You two are amazing together. You love each other and she makes you happy. That's all that matters. I'm happy for the both of you. Truly."
