Ella & McCree
Ella was perfectly comfortable in her home. It was warm, welcoming, and it kept both her and Maximillian safe from all sorts of things, weather included. "Oh, I would of course, but our new home is perfect," she gushed easily. She noticed how he smiled, how it reached his eyes, and it was lovely to see.
"I do believe that might be the first time I've seen you smile," she added, most sincerely. Mr McCree never smiled like that before, not even when she did her best to make him smile. He seemed to have been through a lot in his life - the metal arm was proof enough for that - and it pained her to see that he wasn't able to have that kind of unfettered happiness in his life. To see it now was something of a Christmas miracle, she was certain.
"Maximilian and I will celebrate with the Pack. Jeremy and the others will insist, I'm certain. Besides, there are presents to be given to them as well." Ella considered them her family, just as she considered many of the people here tonight family. She was blessed far more than she ever expected. "It is wonderful to be able to celebrate with you today. I worried you might be alone this Christmas." And that wasn't something she wanted.
