Octavia, Aurie, Gamora
Gamora wasn't a mother. She had no intention of ever becoming a mother. The thought was abhorrent to her, as were small children.
When the child said hello, Gamora stared at her. It was obviously a greeting, but she couldn't make sense of it. Children were impossible to understand most of the time, and when you could, you quickly discovered that you didn't want to.
"Hello, Aurie," she said flatly, only because she knew she had to.
