WHO: Carmilla Karnstein and Tea Marvelli
WHAT: Carm’s arrival
WHEN: Last night
WHERE: In town
RATING: TBD
STATUS: Closed/Ongoing
The last time they had been separated, Laura had gone to some alternate universe and had been gone for awhile. Long enough that Carmilla had gone into full panic mode, angrily demanding the library give her back. She kept snapping at LaFontaine who was only trying to help. They had been the one who remained calm while they tried to find a way to get Laura back while Carmilla couldn't sit still for more than a minute, worrying about her girlfriend. She did get her back, though and it was years ago.
Now it was Carmilla who ended up in some strange place. She didn't know how or why but one minute she was in her apartment in Toronto, the next she was on some street in the middle of some town she didn't recognize. She wasn't quite sure what to think. But after the welcome committee had told her everything and handed her the essentials, she started to understand what was happening here.
And she was not happy.
"What do you mean I can't leave?" she shouted at the people who were walking away. "Hey, come back here!" But it was too late, they were long gone and she became frustrated. Fine, if they won't answer her, then maybe someone else will. So she turned to the nearest person - a girl a bit younger than she was, and stopped her.
"They told me I can't leave. Am I really stuck here?"

Tea thought nothing of seeing the welcoming committee giving the information to someone right there on the street. Another day, another new person. This person was cute, though, and Tea couldn't help but give her a look over as she passed by her. She would have to make sure she found out who that was and got to know her. Intending on walking right b because she had to be somewhere, Tea didn't get far before she was stopped by the beautiful woman and asked the question that everyone asked when they first arrived. "You are. I've been here for three years"

Carmilla hadn't exactly gotten a very good look at the girl she grabbed. If she had, she'd probably think she was rather attractive. But as such, she wasn't in the right mindset at the moment and really, she only grabbed her because she was simply the closest person to her. It could've been anyone. Guess the girl got lucky - or unlucky as Carmilla was not a happy camper and very well could let her frustrations out on this person.
"Seriously?" she asked. But she didn't need to wait for an answer because deep down, she knew the girl was telling the truth. So she let out a frustrated growl as she stared up at the sky.
"This wasn't suppose to happen!" she shouted angrily at - what? The dome? Some god? She didn't really know or didn't really care. Nor did she care if the girl or anyone else was staring at her. She was too upset to care. She thought she was done with this crap. She thought she could finally have a nice, peaceful life with Laura. But no, this had to happen and she hated it.

"Seriously" She replied with a nod. She couldn't lie to the girl or give her false hope. That wouldn't do her anyway good and that just wasn't who Tea was. She was all about being straight forward and honest. Well she tried to be, anyway.
As a girl that yelled at the dome often, it didn't surprise her that someone else was doing it.Sometimes it was needed. Tea knew another way to get out her anger that might just be better. "Sometimes people go through shit at the dome when they're pissed about being here. I know a good spot if you wanna do that" She offered, forgetting all about where she had been going. Cute girls often made her do that and she didn't mind at all.

Carmilla would later appreciate the girl giving it to her straight. She didn't like it when things got sugarcoated. She may hate the answer but she would rather someone be honest with her, no matter how bad the truth was, than being lied to.
She yelled at the sky some more before she sort of calmed down a bit to look at the brunette. "Yeah? I'd rather punch a hole in it but I'll settle for that for now." Despite being calm now, she was still obviously very angry and maybe throwing stuff at the dome might help her ease things a little.

Tea let the girl yell as much as she wanted to while directing passerbyers to look the other way. Sure she was causing a disturbance but she wasn't about to let her get shirt for it. The locals would never understand some people just needed to yell at the sky. "C'mon. My car is near by" She told her, nodding for the girl to follow her. "I'm Tea, by the way" She told her as they walked. Yes, introductions would probably be a good idea if they were going to be hanging out together. She saved no name exchanging for those she planned on having one night stands with and this wasn't the time for that kind of thing.

Carmilla hadn't noticed what the girl was doing nor did she really care at the moment. She was just too angry and frustrated that this was happening and even more so when there was nothing she could do about it. She hated feeling helpless.
She stared at the girl for a moment but then shrugged as she followed her to her car. "Carmilla," she replied. Once they made it to the car, she couldn't help but admire it. "Nice car," she commented as she got into the passenger seat.
***
Carmilla. Well that was a name she wouldn't forget any time soon. It was unique like hers."Thanks. It took me two years to save up for it" She told her as she got in, seat belt going on. Showing off, she gave the engine a roar before pulling out of the spot and heading towards the edge of town. Some light music played in the background as she drove and soon enough they got to the destination; an open field. "It's right there" She told her as they got out, pointing. As a visual, she picked up a rock and chucked it at the wall. Like a bullet hitting something bullet proof, the rock bounced right off.
***
"Looks like it was totally worth every penny," Carmilla said. She didn't bother with her seatbelt. She just sat back and enjoyed the ride.
She got out of the car and followed Tea, watching as she threw a rock at, well, nothing. Or it looked like nothing but then the rock seemed to have hit something and then bounced off. "I've never seen anything like that before," Carmilla muttered, a bit more to herself but she was sure Tea could hear her.
She picked up her own rock and threw it hard. Then another and another and another.
***
"I didn't either when I got here" She told her as she leaned against the hood of her car, her eyes watching as Carmilla began throwing the rocks. Each time she did, the same result happened; nothing. There was no crack from where the rocks were hitting, no matter how sharp. "Feels good, doesn't it?" She asked after a while of just watching her. She found it therapeutic when she was pissed off at something the dome had done. It didn't change anything but it always mad her feel better.
***
Carmilla just nodded as she continued throwing rocks. It didn't do anything nor did it change her situation, but it definitely helped her burn off some of her anger. She stopped only because there wasn't any more rocks to grab and throw.
"A little. I'd still rather tear someone's throat out but this will do," she shrugged as she walked back towards Tea and the car. "I just thought this sort of thing was over with and I can live a normal life with my girlfriend." Well, as normal as one got when becoming a vampire again.
