Rose, with her superhuman senses, could hear the lock click into place, and visibly relaxed. She was still on her guard, but not so much so. At least the woman was taking this seriously. It was Rose's belief that everything should be treated as the worst possible option until it was proven otherwise. That way, you would always be prepared. It had kept her alive so far.
