Strange could remember Saturday afternoons spent standing over patients. He also remembered Saturday afternoons spent giving lectures and interviews. Then there were the Saturday afternoons spent in the libraries at Kamar-Taj.
Now his days were spent working the overly-simplistic crossword puzzles. He had received puzzles from the young man Spencer, and they were, indeed, better than what the local paper offered. Some had even stumped even him. That had been an impressive feat, and Strange had made a note to offer a few puzzles of his own to him.
This Saturday afternoon, Stephen Strange was seated at a corner table with a cup of still steaming espresso. He preferred the stronger drink over regular coffee as of lately. While he didn't find himself needing to be as alert as he was roaming the halls of the New York Sanctum, it had simply become his go-to beverage. Aside from wine and, at times, something a little stronger. That had been the case when he had become a woman just a few weeks ago.
Noting a passing movement in his peripheral, Strange raised a finger in an attempt to catch their attention believing them to be a cafe worker. "Pardon me, but could I get another spiced scone?"
