Marina nodded. She understood that, even though she couldn't remember her father and didn't know if he was good or bad. The person you got your genes from didn't matter half as much as the person who raised you.
"It seems like he did a good job," she said softly. He really did seem like a nice guy. Someone she'd want to be friends with.
