After a long night of working on course design ideas, and an even longer day of errands and chores and doing things like tending to ripped fishnets, Zee wanted to do nothing more than sleep. But she had a lot on her mind and a lot of things going on to juggle, so instead, she hit the park with a mug of tea and a plan to get back to the simple things, like yoga. Yoga was helpful. Zee hadn't been very centered in awhile, her life was too off balance for such niceties.
Zatanna had been hunting for a personal sanctuary - The nearby park was one. The open-air never made her feel caged in or suffocated. Ergo. After she changed into a pair of yoga pants and a tank top, she arrived in her favorite spot, by her favorite tree, set her scene, and began rolling her shoulders in slow circles to tackle the knots, and then she gave it a go. She hadn't really practiced in a while so she was a little out of touch, a little off balance and less graceful than she'd prefer.
She would settle in, and figure it out in a few though. It only took a few minutes for her body to remember how to move again. And while she was focused on how her body was moving she wasn't thinking about anything else. She was content to find an inner peace after a few months of being chaotic. Things never really settled down for long here. She was hoping that would eventually change, but she also knew better too. It also let her mind wander to how she was going to trick out her apartment.
It was time she made it home, after all. She was so absorbed in refocusing her mind and body she didn't hear someone approach.
