"Definitely," Lucas agreed. Whatever his Mom faced back home, he and Cam would always be here waiting for her. He was always going to love her no matter what, even if he got sent home himself. That was all that really mattered to him, that they all knew that. Being a teenager, he needed the pieces of paper that made it true, but Lucas could maybe admit that his parents possibly didn't feel that same burning desire to have a piece of paper that said they were married.
It looked like someone else had come up to wish Natasha well so Lucas gave her another hug, careful of her dress. "Congratulations again," he said softly, just for the two of them, and he meant it with all his heart. He was grinning widely when he stepped back.
