WHO: Barry Allen and Kara Danvers WHAT: Finally having a talk WHEN: Friday night WHERE: Kara’s place WARNINGS: TBD, likely none STATUS: Closed/Ongoing
Since he’d returned, Madison Valley had lost its mind twice. Because of that, he’d been unable to really find the time to talk to anyone about the things that had happened when he’d gone home. He’d told a person here or there in passing - he wasn’t keeping it a secret - but it was eating at him in that way where he knew that he really needed to talk about it with someone. Someone who was, hopefully, a good friend.
Caitin was here, of course, and he considered her a good friend. But some of the things he had to tell concerned her and he didn’t want to tell her about a future that she was very definitely not going to like.
So Kara was the one he turned to. He adored her, and she understood him in ways that Caitlin couldn’t. She seemed the perfect choice. He’d messaged ahead, and when he showed up at her door, he was carrying two pizzas for them to eat while they talked. It only seemed right to bring food when he was probably going to end up crying on their shoulder.
Reaching the house, he tried the door, found it unlocked, and stepped into the foyer.
