WHO: Sybil and Young!Harry WHAT: Tour, flirt, maybe more WHEN: the evening of their conversation WARNINGS: Medium-ish for references to adult situations STATUS: Closed and complete
Harry smirked as he stepped out of the horse drawn carriage, and paid the man, then settled back to sit on the fountain side as he waited for Sybil. The carriage clattered off, and he smiled, then turned his gaze around the city. He had been here quite a few months, and he liked it. He was running a store, after being taken in by the owner as his guardian, and she had retired after a minor ailment. She was apparently a minor property owner around town and she was a very nice woman. Harry, who had turned 18 shortly after becoming her ward, had stayed living there until a few months ago, when he had moved into one of those aprtments for the refugees.
Now he was on his own, and he was looking to move onward with his life, including flirting with several people. One was, he was sure, a product of the current kid weirdness that had once more skipped him, but the other, he had no idea how he had missed her. Sybil Crawley was a sexy, pretty, and decidedly not maternal (to him), woman who he knew, very much knew, he would like to take out for a test drive or two.
Or ten.
Hey, he knew what he liked.
Now he waited, a suit that he was growing out of highlighting his thin but athletic frame as he sat.
***
Sybil, of course, was a naturally flirtatious woman and it probably didn’t help too much that Harry was around the same age as her. But then again, younger Sybil would’ve probably liked him too. She had a rebellious streak for as long as she could remember, wearing pants, wanting to vote and so on.
For now, she left Sybbie with a sitter and headed off to Broadway Fountain wearing a conservative, but sexy outfit. Since she knew how her excursions with the older Harry went, she had a hunch with how things would go with a younger version of him as she saw him and waved.
“Why hello there. You didn’t have to dress up just for me,” clearly she was teasing, but it was all in good fun.
***
Harry smiled, liking her style and spirit right off. Giving her the twice-over, he smiled wider. “I figured I'd do my best to entertain you.”
He offered her his hand just as the horse-drawn carriage returned. “Care for a lift, sexy lady?”
***
Sybil just smiled, “Well, the you in the future does a very good job at entertaining me,” she teased him, hoping he knew what she was alluding to.
“A ride sounds wonderful. Then I can start to show you around town,” since it was a good way to know the teen version of Harry.
***
Harry flushed, eyeing her. “Oh, double timing with a time traveling version of me, huh? I see how it is.” He chuckled, showing he was kidding,. He knew this place played time travel tricks all the time. He would never know it when it happened and generally asked not to be told about it.
He opened the door to the side of the carriage and helped her in, then followed her in, and managed to get in a grope on her rear as they did so. Then the carriage was moving.
“Maybe some dinner after, yeah? And some of that entertainment?” He waggled his eyebrows.
***
“I am, yes, but trust me you get only sexier as you age,” she told him and oddly enough, Sybil did have a thing for older men. But her and Harry did have some rather special chemistry. But once he groped her, she returned it with a good swat.
“Yes dinner first. And maybe some entertainment if you’re good,” but she had to tease him, since she had a loose definition of the word at times.
***
“Hah! Well then I look forward to this. And to entertaining you, in turn.” He waggled his eyebrows as he watched her, being good as he sat there instead of pulling her onto his lap like he wanted to do.
“So, where does this tour start?”
***
Sybil just had to laugh at how he entertained her. “You do like to misbehave don’t you,” she teased him, deciding just to cuddle into him for now.
“As for where this tour starts. It can start wherever you want it to begin and we’ll improvise.”
***
“Misbehave? Me? Are you going to punish me?” He chuckled, and settled back, looking out the window. “Well, what’s your favorite place here in town? How about that?”
He liked the idea of just hanging out with her and misbehaving.
***
“Maybe after the tour ends, I will, just to teach you a lesson,” she teased him as she looked out the window. “I kind of love the whole town...since as I said my life got cut tragically short back home. But some of my favorite places are well, the herb shop you work at, and your house.”
“Or we could stroll downtown and then go home. I’m sure the shops are far different.”
***
Harry grinned at her. “Oh yeah? I look forward to it, teacher.” Then he smiled and nodded, listening. “I’m glad you have a chance here. And I’d like that.” He stuck his head out the window, called to the driver, then sat back with her.
“He’ll drop us at the edge of the downtown market area, then pick us up on the other side, unless we call him early.” He smiled at her and kissed her lightly.
Soon, they were stepping out, looking around the stores and people.
“I like this place. It’s… quiet.”
***
Sybil smiled, again, she did love to teach new things and learn new things as well. But this town always had a positive impact on her. “I am glad as well,” she told her as they stepped out. “And I do think it’ll be fun. You can tell me about how the town is back from when you’re young.”
“Quiet is always good. Sometimes better than the chaos that the town always has.”
***
“Yes. Quiet makes life more fun, lets us make our own noise.” He took her hand, and grinned at her. “This place is amazing, and I sometimes just like to walk around.” It made him feel more connected.
He smiled at her as he bent his head to swipe a kiss over her lips, quicklike.
***
“I do love your thinking,” she told him, debating if she should mention Sybbie or not, but she decided not to. At least not now. “Walking around is fun. Even if there’s things that I always want to buy.”
Not that she did, but whatever thoughts were in her head were interrupted as he kissed her. She clearly kissed him back before breaking it.
“Plus, I can tell I’m in for a thrill-seeking adventure around you.”
***
Harry cocked his head to the side. “Always. Just depends on how much adventure you want. I promise there will be heartbreak, pain, sorrow, and madness, and lots of explosions. And maybe, if we are lucky, some joy, and some love.”
He nodded. “Oh, and there will be lots of sex.”
He smirked as he started forward.
***
“Sounds like a very exciting adventure. As if you already know how our future ends up,” she said, still mostly teasing for the most part. “But as long as you’re there, any adventure is worth it.”
“I’m really looking forward to that last part though.”
***
“Me? Nah. That’s just life, really. The world brings the opportunities to you, if you want them.” He nodded and walked with her, smiling , looking around, and snagged her hand with his, pulling her close.
“Good. Me too. I like the idea, a lot.” He smirked at her as they turned a corner toward a small street market. Some of the tables were already empty and shuttered, but some were still open.
***
“Of course I want opportunities. I was just hoping you had magic capabilities to see into the future,” she teased him as she pulled herself closer to him.
“Me too. But why don’t you say we get dinner first?”
***
Harry shook his head. “Dangerous stuff that. I would rather never do that.” He nodded, and smiled, snuggling her close.
“Sounds good to me. Lead on, beautiful.”
And with a kiss he stepped back, but kept one hand on one of hers.
***
“That is so very true, but at least we know the future for tonight and that is that we will have a great time,” she told him, kissing him as they headed into the Musain, looking forward to getting to know young Harry Dresden.
