"Not all of us have forgotten patience," he countered. "At least, some of us can remember it a portion of the time. Which is... something."
He just wasn't always sure what. Came in handy for him, though, as a doctor. Even if he did get exasperated with his patients on occasion. With the people he treated, that was to be expected.
"I absolutely don't remember your arrival whatsoever, which means either you're new or you're relatively quiet." He quirked a smile. "I've been in town just shy of three years, it's pretty easy to remember people at this point."
