Arthur liked taking Pinto to the park. Walks were way more fun with a dog, and way more interesting at the park. He wouldn't go near the playground, there were too many germs, he felt dirty just thinking about it, and he couldn't keep his hands sanitized enough. He'd tried wearing gloves but then he didn't have a good grip when he tried to climb, so he ruled that out.

Pinto was only a couple pounds, and he was really little, so he wasn't really strong enough to drag Arthur anywhere, but when he picked up a scent that he wanted to follow, he was pretty adamant about following it. Arthur relented, letting the little chihuahua lead the way.

Pinto led him to a bench where someone was sitting and eating something. "No, Pinto," Arthur said, giving the leash just a little tug to try and get Pinto back on the trail. "You can't have the man's food."

Kenny had been out and about for a couple hours now, having done a few errands here and there. He'd gone to Wal-Mart and gotten some new shirts since some of his were bloody and torn. He could hardly ever get the stains out, so he just threw them away and bought new ones. Once he was done with that, he'd gotten hungry and got a burger meal from Hinkles. Instead of eating there, however, he decided to go to the park to eat, since it was a nice day out.

He found an empty bench to sit on and began munching on his food, watching all the people as they walked by. He suddenly heard a little kid's voice and he turned. When he saw Arthur, he sighed a little. From their talk on the network, Kenny didn't think he was as annoying as Joey. But he was still a little kid and Kenny just didn't like kids. Especially one that looked exactly like his and Ella's possible future or alternate universe child. He didn't liked to be reminded she was gone in any way. He knew it wasn't Joey but still.

He wanted to tell them to go away but then he sighed. He supposed it wouldn't be too bad to share some food with the damn dog or talk to the kid for five minutes. "It's okay, he can have some of my fries," he told Arthur, then reached into the bag and pulled out a few fries and holding them out for Pinto to eat.

"Okay, but only a couple. People food isn't good for him." Arthur sat down on the bench beside Kenny. He had Pinto's leash looped around his wrist. He wasn't worried about the little dog pulling him.

Arthur made a face at the food Kenny had. "Actually, that kind of food isn't good for people, either," he said. He was health conscious, because he hadn't had a lot of healthy food before he came to Madison Valley.

"Right, okay," Kenny sighed as he gave the dog only two fries. But he suppose the kid was right, people food aren't usually good for dogs and the last thing Kenny wanted was to make Pinto sick.

He did rolled his eyes at Arthur's next statement. "Oh no, guess I'll get some heart disease or some shit." He obviously wasn't worried about that. Why would he be? Every time he came back to life, not only does his injuries disappear, but so did diseases. Like he had a complete reset on his body. Not that he hadn't died from illnesses before, just that it was really rare.

"It could happen," Arthur said. Of course, his mother never seemed to get sick, and she ate way more unhealthy than even Hinkles burgers. "But it's okay to eat a Hinkles meal once in a while. As long as it's not every day."

Pinto realised he was going to get any more food and settled on the ground at Arthur's feet. Arthur shifted a little and looked at Kenny more squarely. He might look like Joey, though it was more accurate to say Joey looked like him, but he was nothing like Joey.

"Well, if I die from a heart attack, I'll just come back," Kenny shrugged. That actually happened before but not from eating greasy foods. "I don't. I was hungry and it was on the way, so."

He went back to eating his burger and fries. He didn't say anything but after awhile, noticed Arthur looking at him. "What?" he asked, slightly annoyed the kid was still here. He turned still couldn't really get over how much he and Joey looked alike. He suppose it was good that was only as far as it went. Joey was quiet but he could be a bit of a troublemaker when he wanted to be.

	"If you die, it's for real. You can't come back." People didn't come back from the dead. Except that one time his mother was dead, but the paramedics got her heart beating again and she lived. Arthur shuddered to think of that. He didn't like thinking about his mother at all. She was a horrible person, and he kind of wished she had died that night. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Kenny looked away, eating his food, but every so often he'd sneak a glance at Arthur. He looked so much like Joey, he couldn't really help it.

"Not if you're immortal," he replied then added, "or a zombie." Which Kenny had been before, briefly. Luckily he didn't really remember any of it, other than the strong urge to eat peoples' brains. He was glad he was normal and that it only happened once.

	Arthur knew what a zombie was, and he was pretty sure this guy was not a zombie. He was eating Hinkles, not someone's brains, after all. "What's immortal?" he asked. He usually asked for an explanation when he didn't understand something. That was the best way to learn. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"An immortal is someone who can't die or can die but they just come back," Kenny replied with a shrug. "That's what I do - I just come back after I die." It was the one constant in his life. Even if he stayed dead for days or weeks or even months, he always came back. (Reply to this) (Parent)
