A lot of hours this week, Rosa just wished she could spend her time drunk. There were kids everywhere, again, except this time they weren’t supposed to be kids. The only, only saving grace was that Amy wasn’t one of them. Stupid Santiago was pretty much the only person still around who mattered at all and her suddenly being some OCD little nerd kid would have sucked a lot.

Since she couldn’t spend all her time drinking, she was getting coffee instead. It was an okay substitute and she was better off with it since she still had to work.

She was just standing in line at Starbucks, completely unapologetic about loving it, wishing the idiot at the front of the line would hurry the hell up and stop with the stupid questions.

Sam was on his way over to Steve's house to give Molly and Summer a break for a few hours. Figuring that the girls were probably worn out, he decided to make a quick stop at Starbucks for some mochas and baked goods.

The problem was there was no such thing as a quick stop at Starbucks, especially not when half the town was the wrong age. He sighed as he joined the line. Hopefully this wouldn't take too long.

After a few moments, he realized that he recognized the person in front of him in line. "Rosa? Hey," he said.

	Turning, hiding her surprise, Rosa looked at the guy behind her. And realized she'd met him before. They'd had a drink, she'd thought he was cute enough and had, for a second, considered making him take her out. "Hey, man." There was no awkwardness on Sam's part. He'd bought her a drink, they had a nice conversation, and then he'd sort of started dating Olivia until she got sent home which put a damper on his interest in actually dating while in town.

"Not much," he said. "Some of my friends were hit by the latest town weirdness, so I'm taking coffee to the girls who are looking after them. How've you been?"

	"Fine." Things were fine. Things were actually alright, with the exception of Jake's still pretty recent disappearance. That still really sucked, still stung. "You know. I'm stuck in Indiana so." 	"People say you get used to it." People needed to shut the hell up. Rosa didn't need anyone telling her she was going to get used to being yanked out of her home. It just made her want to punch them in their big dumb faces. (Reply to this) (Parent)
