The small town was enough to drive a man like Leonard Snart slightly insane. It was too quaint, too cute, and much too quiet. None of these things were usually present when Snart was around. Then again, he usually had his more hot-headed counterpart with him to stir up some trouble. Snart had his own level of brawn, but Mick would always be the true muscle.
There were a few individuals who could prove entertaining that he had seen. There were others that, Snart knew, were going to be looking over his shoulder every minute and every day. Like Barry Allen.
There were times that Snart swore he could see just a spark of lightning out of the corner of his eye.
He was making his way through the main area of the town, passing shops, and keeping his hands in his pockets. The temptation to pick pocket was strong, and Snart knew he could do so easily without alerting too many people in passing. He was a master thief. If he was caught, it would be his own fault. Then again, if he got caught, Snart most likely was allowing himself to.
The thought crossed his mind once more as he began to approach a brunette from behind. Just one bump, one swipe, and he could take something. Anything. Instead, Snart simply bumped into her with his shoulder. “Careful. You could lose something important that way,” he said casually, smoothly.

Rogue luckily had a plethora of skills at her disposal, including a master thief and assassin in her head. She'd grown up a bit of a street rat, too, having run away from home and then raised by Mystique. So she not only kept her wallet next to her chest, under the long sleeved shirt, but as he bumped her, her hand shot out.
It stopped the moment he spoke, skin bare and ready to grab him, a hint of a bone claw popping through skin. It disappeared quickly, leaving her flexing her fingers to chase away the ache. “Ain't kept anything important within reach in a very long time.” She spoke easily, her southern accent drawing out words.
“I'd catch you before you got down the block “ this place as bad for Rogue, too. She was antsy and hated that she had no one to really brawl with to keep her out of trouble. She was grinning as she spoke to him though, as if his warning was amusing.
There was no Remy here, no professor, no Logan. The few people who really could keep her out of trouble (or at least in manageable trouble.)

“Smart girl,” he said, drawing out his words a bit as he did. “Good to see there are people here with a sturdy head on their shoulders.” While Snart hadn’t had any run-ins with questionable folks, he had certainly seen a fair share lurking on the town’s network.
“Though I would be interested in seeing if you would, in fact, catch me.” It was certainly a challenge, and one Snart was always up for testing. He was, in his opinion, a master thief. Getting caught was hardly ever on his to-do list. It did happen on a rare occasion, though.
“Humor me,” he began, glancing this way and that before settling back on Rogue. “Do you see any good targets from this point? It’s hardly an advantage, but it’s a starting point on less.”

Rogue smirked a little, her lip curling at one side a little more than the other, her green eyes glinted with mischief. “My ex was head of the Thieves guild, and with my own history, well, if I didn’t have a ” she drawled out as she glanced back at him. She pushed a lock of white back and looked out over the crowd of people.
“We’ll have to put it to the test sometime, yes?” she was up for that, too, because it really sounded like a fun challenge. She liked piting her skills against someone else’s, it kept hers sharp even if she failed. “Maybe two out of three so we know either way if it’s a fluke or not.” she did like being somewhat fair. Sometimes.
She ran her fingers through her hair as she looked over the people milling about. Her eyes searched the folk walking, quick but thorough glances, judging before she cocked her head a little. “Orange shirt, blue hat. Wallet in back pocket, loose cash in the other pocket. For an easy mark, anyways.” then she looked over a little more. “Red dress, blonde hair. She tucked her wallet into the small pocket of the purse and it’s behind her a little instead of closer to her hip. Slightly more difficult but not terribly hard either.”
She did believe in work smarter, not harder, when it came to such things.

Snart looked from the first target and then to the second with a grin. “I appreciate the way you think. Nothing too easy, but nothing that would break a sweat.” A challenge was always what he sought out, but sometimes even a master thief needed a break. Besides, he didn’t need to alert Barry or his friends of anything he might be up to.
“Red dress it is. I’ll take lead if you take flank.” Meaning, of course, that he would distract and Rogue could pick pocket. “But, if you get caught, I make no promises of bailing you out of a sticky situation.” No promises wasn’t always an absolute no with Leonard Snart.
It was possible that he would come to collect her and help her out.
