The scar is a reminder of everything I lost, and fought to get back. It changed me, and while I definitely didn't want it to happen, I think it made me a better man in some ways.
Not the betrayal, That was...terrible, and I never should have doubted Angel. But I try to focus on the good that came out of it, because most of what came from it was absolutely wretched.
