Kaleb had been an interesting person to meet, and Lena had been quite surprised at his offer of dinner. It was his very way of being that perked her interest in knowing more about him. Lena was, after all, a scientist over anything else.
Casual for Lena was not far from Kaleb's level, though she had a much easier time going from that to formal. She had managed a happy medium for herself: tailored deep red pants, black flats, and a black silk blouse. Casual and comfortable, but not overly so. They were colors that Lena had come to prefer. Especially red. It was a power color, and one she usually wore during board meetings and conferences back home. Anything she could do to make herself feel in charge were used when handling matters with L-Corp.
Old habits were hard to break.
"Kaleb," she said, approaching him with a friendly smile. As she had done in the park, Lena extending her hand in greeting. "Don't we look handsome." Which, in truth, he did. "I hope you brought an appetite." Because it already smelled delicious outside.
