Kate Bishop and Bucky
Bucky made a face at the mention of her father. From what little he'd learned of the Derek Bishop, he was fairly confident he'd try to murder the bastard if he ever showed up in Madison. He wasn't worthy of Kate's time or attention, and he sure as hell wasn't going to get afforded the respect he ordinarily would've given to the father of someone he cared about.
"They're idiots, so." He shrugged, not really shy about how much he disliked them. "Barton's better company and a better conversationalist." Which was saying something, because Bucky really wasn't Barton's biggest fan these days. It was getting better with each day that passed that the archer was gone, since moving on was easier to do when the problem was out of sight. Bucky just hoped that the same held true for Kate and she'd be able to move on from the crap she had to deal with back home because she wasn't there anymore.
"I don't want to scare him off," Bucky countered with another shrug. If Mitchell was worth Kate's attention, he wouldn't be scared off so easily. He honestly just wanted Kate to be happy. She deserved that, more so after everything.
