Shuffling over, James sat right where she indicated, catching her hand and holding it in his lap.
"No need for apologies," he assured. "Doing alright?"
He worried about her, of course. She'd not been herself since waking up and he was sure there was something on her mind. He was less sure she'd wanted to talk about it.
