Bobby and Jean
His devotion startled her, but only in the best way possible. She was still a stranger to him despite sharing his memories moments ago. She was not the Jean he knew and yet he was willing to do anything to save her from the Phoenix Force, anything to save the world and that touched her. She nodded and smiled at him warmly. "Thank you Bobby, it means a lot to me. You don't even know how much," she replied, gratitude evident in her voice.
"I'd like that a lot. I just started training back home as an X-Men. Well, full training on Sentinels. It would be nice to train with you," Jean was excited about it actually. She was unsure if they would be able to do training here without hurting anyone in the town, but Bobby seemed positive they could and that made her happy. She didn't want to forget everything she'd learned so far. You're not alone. It was something the professor would have said. He offered his hand, this time in a more formal greeting and Jean reached out to shake it. "It's nice to meet you Bobby, X-Men, silly mutant, and sometimes a little crazy," she replied back with a small, teasing smile.
