Buffy couldn't help, but laugh at the massive eyebrow wag. "True. Bad assumption, right?" Buffy teased. Thalia ordered them up a double scoop of both and Buffy snagged a few bites from the other woman's gelato as they indulged. It was delicious and maybe the best gelato Buffy ever had. Who knew a small town in Indiana could have such great gelato? The weird things you find out when randomly transported to a dome. Well, it was at least one of the more positive things.
Nabbing a last bite of gelato, the blond tossed her cup and followed Thalia to the riverbank. Buffy was sure in a another life she'd been here, but right now the entire area was unfamiliar and though she doubted Demon Dean would pop up, the slayer remained on her guard. Then again, she was with a demigoddess and probably a hell of a lot safer than she thought. Thalia's voice, an obvious note of sadness audible, pulled Buffy from her thoughts and she looked over at brunette. Yes, this was the difficult part of the conversation, wasn't it? The part where remembered nothing about her and Thalia remembered everything. God, this sucked.
"I wish I did, Thalia," Buffy blurted out. "I mean it sucks because you're an awesome person with an obvious addiction to gelato that could envy my own and we probably had some good times. More than just some probably..." Buffy trailed off. Perhaps the Buffy before her had been less jaded too. At the explanation, Buffy nodded. "So, you got all the god-like powers too then?"
