WHO: Jenny Noble & Tara Maclay
WHAT: hanging out for chips - err, fries
WHEN: Thursday, lunch
WHERE: diner
WARNINGS: TBD
STATUS: Closed; Ongoing
Like her father, Jenny was always quick and keen on making friends in whatever situation she found herself in. It didn't do well to try to go it alone in most cases. She did her very best to keep her personal loss count to an absolute minimum. As a result, she had yet to actually have a companion as he often did. She longed for that sort of companionship - always seeking it in the friends she made, wondering if the next soul she came across would be that right fit to just... stay with her. She felt like a lost, wandering sort. But this time was different. This time she was woefully stuck.
But there were chips - well, no, not precisely. There were fries which were similar but thinner and more greasy. Ketchup improved them, so Google told her, though she was curious about the application of the thing they called honey mustard. Honey? In mustard? How did that work? It sounded brilliant.
Tara seemed nice from their brief chats. She had a glimmer of hope that perhaps this could be someone who stuck around for her. It would be nice to have... roots of some sort. She stepped into the diner and tucked her sonic sunglasses into her bag - bigger on the inside technology, who knew what was actually in that thing. She waved from the entrance then bounded her way to the booth; she was overdue for food according to her superior biology. She had been distracted by this place and its anomalies. She slid into the seat with smirky sort of smile, red hair bouncing around.
"Tara! Hello!" she beamed. "Feeling better today? Adjusting to the bizarrity of all this?"
