Dwight & Peppers
"I'm flattered, Ms. Potts." He attempted a more formal tone as he wrapped his arms around her. It had failed quite horribly, but that didn't matter. It was there to brighten that smile she wore when he was with her. Being able to make a woman smile like that? Dwight knew that didn't happen every day, or all the time. In truth, he hadn't seen a smile like that in a while. True happiness was so rare these days.
Making out was an option, and Dwight considered it. Prom was where that sort of thing happened, but not for them. Not here anyway.
"Dancing. I think dancing is a good option," he said, leaning in close with a smirk. "For now. We'll see about later." He had stopped worrying about being too forward with her. They had been through more than most couples went through their first six months of dating.
Kissing her firmly, he didn't linger too long. He didn't want one of the other chaperones to give them a scolding or anything. That would have been a scene, though. A scene that the younger crowd probably would have gotten a few laughs out of.
With a spin, he held her tight as he dipped her before pulling her back up and against him.
