Cassie & Merida
Merida was used to gatherings, but not necessarily gatherings like this one. She was a princess, over all, and her father's hall had often hosted boisterous parties that had gone on well into the night and deeply into drunkenness. Probably not the kind of thing that a young girl like Merida should experience as often as she had, but she wasn't complaining. It was what it was. She'd enjoyed growing up with her family, and she loved them dearly, and she didn't see anything wrong with it, no matter what other people might think.
The gatherings here in Madison Valley were more fun to her, though. There were more interesting people, more food, and more chance to really have some fun without having to worry about drunk and annoying Scotsmen.
She'd grabbed a plate of food and was looking for a place to sit when she noticed a girl wandering around with a cookie. She grinned, and waved at her.
