Cassie & OTA (multiples welcome)
Cassie didn't really understand why there was a holiday to celebrate all the people who'd died in battle, but she wasn't about to turn down the opportunity to spend time with her parents and their friends. She hadn't even brought her sketchbook in an effort to not hide away or anything like that. She could be fully engaged and present and on her best behavior, for her anyway.
She had her hair - now streaked with red and green thanks to a secret trip to the store - braided down her back, which was a little different than her usual of just letting her hair do what it wanted. Cassie definitely did not want to say hi to any of the small children, but she'd heard through the grapevine that Jane had a facetwin who was around her age. Plus, there were always teenagers around that Cassie knew she should probably do a better job of making friends with.
Looking around, she spotted a tray of cookies and snuck one before wandering around to see who caught her attention.
