Magnus and Briar
Warm weather meant Briar would have spent most of his time outside anyway, that the window in his bedroom would have been left open and his bed dragged over to sit right beneath it. He didn't like the feeling of being cooped up much. An invitation to run with other kids for a while, to spend a night outside, it wasn't really unlike old times.
Madison Valley wasn't as hot as Hajra, but it was comfortable enough.
He'd torn the sleeves from his shirt, thin arms already catching enough sun that they were on their way to turning as dark as the earth he spent his time half buried in, in response to summer really starting, paying no mind to any bugs that came his way out in the woods. Finding a handful of food, he made his way to the fire, winding up sitting down next to the blonde boy.
