Status: Closed/Ongoing
Dawn hadn't made a decision about whether or not she wanted to go to prom, but she had the afternoon off from work, so she figured there was no harm in going out and looking at dresses. Maybe if she found something that would be perfect, that would be a sign she should go. Part of her really wanted to go, even if she didn't have a date, because it was a thing that normal high school students got to do and her life had been about as far from normal as you could get.
Another part of her was afraid that if she went, something bad would happen and ruin the night for everyone else. Trouble seemed to follow Dawn everywhere and she didn't want the entire town to hate her.
With a sigh, she pulled a dress off the rack and held it up to herself, wondering if she was tall enough to pull off something long.
