Amberle laughed. "Yes, they would have been used for far more than just training. Grandfather would not have liked having to clean up the messes we'd make. My Uncle would love them, I think." She missed her Uncle a great deal, but he had not yet been brought to Madison Valley. Perhaps soon, because she knew she was in need of some guidance in her life.
When he asked her how things were, Amberle found herself sighing softly. "Things are complicated," she admitted. At work, she didn't really get into the details of what her personal life was like, but now that they were not at work, it was hard to make that distinction. Amberle glanced at her friend to see if he might be receptive to giving her advice.
