Who: Methos and Maria Hill/later Duncan MacLeod When: Thursday morning Where: Cage at WAMM to the boarding house What: Waking up Rating/Warnings: TBD Status: in progress
By the time anyone would come to look in on him Methos was awake and sitting unmoving on the bed in his bare feet looking out at nothing. His hair was back to its normal length and there was a difference in the way he was carrying himself. The superior sneer was also missing from his face.
He'd awakened as soon as he'd changed back to his normal self and the crushing guilt had hit. He'd forced an innocent pregnant woman into being his servant...slave really...and been on the verge of killing off Sara and Molly just to not have to figure out what to do with them. And he hadn't cared about it at all.
The Methos he was now was just as pragmatic sometimes, ruthless in survival and coldly practical when it came to killing. Chopping off that woman's head for Richie and Duncan hadn't made him lose a blink of sleep. He was paranoid and left at the first sign of trouble if he could.
But under it all there was a part of him that wanted to be a good person. At least better than he used to be. On one hand it showed him just how far he'd come in some ways from being one of the Horsemen but that wasn't much of a comfort.
So he was sitting in the cage with no expression waiting for whoever would be here to check up on him.
