Lindsey took a step back. His bright eyes drank in the sight of her. Even though he felt like he was supposed to be on the opposite side of the fight from Cordelia Chase, he'd always kind of liked her. But then, he actually kind of liked Angel too, if he was being completely honest, which he hardly ever was.
"Look what the cat dragged in," he commented, mouth turning up in a smirk. "When did you get here?" He hadn't been as attentive to the network, as maybe he ought to be, because he had no idea Cordelia had showed up in this god forsaken town. He wondered who else might be here that he should know.
Angel himself, maybe? No, Lindsey was pretty sure that pompous jerk would make sure everyone knew he was around, with an ego as big as his he wouldn't sit around quietly. But if Cordelia was here, maybe the big guy wouldn't be far behind.
