Rogers had said he should get a hobby. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that this was not what he had in mind, but Clint didn’t feel like learning to paint or how to throw a pot on a ceramic wheel. He’d get bored with either of those in a hot minute. So he fell back on what he knew. Coulson was his first target. He hadn’t hung out with the guy in a while so this would be a nice ice breaker.

Getting the items he needed took longer than it had to set it all up. Breaking into Phil’s office at the casino had been child’s play…and they really needed to talk about better security measures here. Spring snakes were set in random drawers. A whoopy cushion was carefully placed on the chair. But the jewel in the crown was the glitter on the blades of the ceiling fan. As soon as that baby turned on, Phil would be FAH-bulous!

Now Clint sat at the bar of the casino with a completely believable innocent expression on his face. Anyone who knew him would know that was when he shouldn’t be trusted the most.

Phil hadn't been expecting any of it. He should have been, just because it'd been too long since since Clint had gotten him. But he hadn't expected it.

The whoopee cushion was pretty inelegant, almost disappointing. The snakes? Startling, but oh well. And the glitter on the fan blades...

Well, that? That had a glitter-covered Phil going down to the bar, sitting next to Clint, and just looking at him.

	"It looks good." Clint snerked at the end of that and finally gave in to a bad case of the chuckles. Clapping a hand on Phil's shoulder just made it worse when the action dislodged a cloud of glitter. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Of course," Clint answered. "I'm told that about three times a day at least."

Then Phil went there. Clint's expression went to that scary neutral that long time agents can get just before shit got real, and it was leveled at Coulson.

"I'm going to forget you said that. Just once. Happens again," his brows lifted minutely as he nodded. "We might have to have words."

Fortunately, this was Clint. He could let things go. Bring up Tony around certain other people and that might not be the case. Besides, how could he stay mad at a guy who was so casually rocking the glitter?

"So what's new in Coulsonland?" Clint said by way of showing he was letting it go...and conveniently changing the subject. "You've been too quiet. Makes me nervous."
