Who: Mary and her suddenly many children What: Getting them out of the house. Where: The park When: April 15th Warnings: Probably none Status: Open to multiple threads. If you want to interact with one of the kids, your choices are Abigail Crane (12), James Rogers (6), Elizabeth Hewlett (5) and plain old George Crawley (4).
If Mary thought that being a mother to just George was exhausting, then she had no idea what she was in for. Having four children was a full time job, especially because it was sprung on her so suddenly. Madison had a way of doing that to people. She'd had to cut her hours back a bit at the tea house in order to take care of them all, since most of them were still young. Their fathers pitched in, but she knew that children wanted to be with their mother.
Speaking of their fathers, that was a whole other level of strange. Mary was pleased to see Abigail again, thus hopefully confirming that she was real and that she would be coming into she and Ichabod's lives soon. James's father being Steve was strange and somewhat awkward. With Elizabeth, well, Mary could see herself with Edmund more likely than she could with Steve, but it was still very weird. Especially to Edmund.
All the children were lovely, even if Mary knew that they would be gone in a week. As much as she loved all of them, it would be nice for her to have her life back. Even though their house was big, with twice the amount of people living in it, it was starting to get a bit cramped, so Mary took them out to the park to play. Abigail was sitting under a tree writing something in a journal, while the three younger ones played some sort of game together in the grass. It was nice to see George with siblings to play with.
Mary rested her head back on the park bench, glad for a moment to herself finally.
