Father-Son Meeting (Luke/Anakin)
Who: Luke and Anakin
What: Meeting in the park
Where: The park
When: The afternoon after Luke's arrival
Warnings: None that I know of. Should stay PG at the most.
Status: Ongoing
Luke arrived at the park, and kept his senses tuned, looking, listening, and stretching out for his father's Force presence. There would be no mistaking him, either way. He had only seen his undamaged form once, when he appeared with Obi-Wan and Yoda in the Force, but Luke had known it was him. And with or without the darkness of Vader, there would be no mistaking his Force signature. That, too, Luke had only felt once...as his father lay dying on the Death Star.
He was anxious to meet him in person, but very nervous. How could he tell him everything that had happened? That he would become a Sith, kill so many throughout the galaxy, and unknowingly torture his own daughter, then blow up her entire world? He couldn't possibly reveal everything right now. He'd have to take things a step at at time, gauging his dad's reaction and decide how to proceed next.
He waited, too full of emotion to sit on one of the benches, his right hand flexing now and then. That was going to be an uncomfortable talk if the question of how he lost it came up. "You cut it off" probably wouldn't go well.
Thoughts of others showing up also flooded his mind. He'd give anything to have his mother show up here, and wanted desperately to feel Mara and Ben again in the Force. But, would it get awkward, Mara having spent so much time around Anakin as Vader?> And Ben...he did not sense any darkness in Anakin, but still, perhaps the boy was safer not being here, just in case something did happen. Luke would hate to find himself battling his father to protect his son.
He tried to put the negative thoughts aside for now, and to make sure he had enough of a shield up to avoid any unwanted images or feelings being picked up, tried to compose himself as he watched for his father to arrive.
