Kenny & Cassie
"Thanks." To be honest, Kenny was a bit nervous about his song of choice, mostly because not many people his age liked opera music. But the song he sang was a bit more modern and the crowd seemed to like it. Even this girl took a bit of an interest. Enough that she started talking and asking him questions, at least. He shook his head. "Nah, I do other things." He probably could make money singing - and he had before - but he never thought of it as a career choice.
"I can't imagine being with one person for the rest of your life." Not that he hadn't tried before, but he couldn't picture himself being with anyone for more than a year, let alone ten, twenty, or even fifty years. "And with this place, you never know what could happen. You could fall in love and shit, only to have them go back home." That sounded like a terrible fate, and while Kenny can be a bit of a risk taker, it was one he wasn't willing to try.
"You're probably right. Guess we'll never know," he shrugged. He finished the rest of his pizza, washing it down with some coke. He got up. "So I'm going to head over to the art section. My friend is displaying some drawings she did and I want to see them."
