One thing that was good about what had happened between Bobbi and Cassie was that Bobbi was getting to spend a whole lot more time with Nick. And that was something she entirely approved of. She hadn't known she could feel this way again before arriving in Madison Valley, but she felt like a schoolgirl in love again, wanting to spend every spare moment with him that she could. Most nights she was staying at his house now, or him at hers, and she liked it that way.
Even if she did get up significantly earlier than he did.
She used that time, like this morning, to get up and go work out. She spent an hour at the gym, then went for a run if it was warm enough, then picked up some breakfast and took it back to Nick, and they shared it (and other things) in bed.
This morning was time for donuts. Which, yes, were messy, but they were also fun in their own way. Licking powdered sugar off of someone's lips was strangely appealing.
Except when she got to the front, they informed her that they were all out of powdered sugar donuts, and she'd have to wait twenty minutes. She gave them a dirty look, hoping it would make her desired donuts materialize, but when it didn't, she simply sighed and nodded.
"Yeah, okay, fine, I'll wait." And she took the last empty seat, next to someone reading their paper, pulled out her very sharp looking knife, and began cleaning her fingernails as she waited.
