WHO: Tom Lucitor and OPEN WHAT: Exploring Madison Valley WHEN: Right after his arrival, but before Wes asks him to stay WHERE: The Streets of Madison Valley WARNINGS: TBD STATUS: Open/Ongoing
Tom couldn't get back to the Underworld. His carriage with his dead horse was nowhere to be found, and while he could make fire, it wouldn't take him anywhere. Which was so lame. If Marco thought that he wanted to be here, then he was crazy. Or crazier, whichever it might have been.
Although, the fact that Star was here didn't hurt matters any, even if she was convinced she wasn't interested in him and was apparently going to see some movie with a blue guy. Everyone knew that purple skin was better, duh, and anyway, as far as Tom could tell, Kurt wasn't even a prince. And while Princesses didn't have to marry princes, come on, why wouldn't they?
Being stuck in a human body also had Tom off balance. It wasn't really a human body, but apparently Madison Valley had somehow put a spell on him so that he looked like a normal human. He could push through the glamour if he tried hard enough, and look like himself, but sitting here on the side of the road, it just wasn't worth it. Even if he did only have two eyes.
He'd traveled through dimensions millions of times, but this was just...different. Very different. It was always so easy to travel back, but he seemed stuck here. He didn't want to be stuck on earth, especially without his life coach and without Marshmallow. What was he supposed to do when someone made him mad? He was trying, okay, but that didn't mean he was all that good at controlling his anger yet. Especially when Star and Marco made it so hard.
He looked up at the sky, not noticing that the his feet and everywhere his body was in contact with the ground had first started smoldering, then caught fire. It happened sometimes, this subconscious pyrokinesis. Back home, it wasn't such a big deal. But fires weren't quite so accepted on Earth.
